Job summary

MasterApp Labs LLC in Lansing, MI is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a contract-to-hire role. The position requires hybrid work with onsite presence two days per week and rounds of interviews including MS Teams and in-person sessions.

The candidate will conduct business process reviews, elicit and document requirements, and collaborate with senior management to shape IT strategy and roadmaps. A strong background in Agile development and public-facing IT projects is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation to include process modeling.
• 5+ years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s).
• 2+ years facilitating discussions with senior management to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions.
• 2+ years working on IT solutions projects for public use.

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Location: Lansing, MI, (Hybrid)-Onsite from day 1, two days a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays are required onsite)

Position Type: Contract to hire

Interview Mode: 1st round MS Teams & 2nd round In-person

Required:

• Minimum of 7 years conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation to include process modeling
• Minimum of 5 years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s)
• Minimum of 2 years working directly with senior management in facilitating discussions to determine strategy, develop road maps and/or gain consensus to resolve opposing positions
• Minimum of 2 years working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use

Preferred:

• Minimum of 2 years supporting the development of or compliance to statement of work and/or other work agreements/contracts
• Minimum of 1 year working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations
• Bachelor's degree
