Job summary

Performance Team is seeking a Forklift Operator to support loading and unloading operations using a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and adherence to TSA/OSHA guidelines in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The position requires ability to lift 50+ lbs, operate RF scanners, and work with minimal supervision while collaborating with team members. Scheduling is Monday–Friday, with potential overtime and weekend work when needed.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred – 1 year.
• Must be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and banding/shrink wrap material.
• Experience using an RF scan gun required.
• Previous forklift certifications preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime and occasional weekends.
• Must read and comprehend work instructions well.
• Must work well with others with little supervision.
• High attention to detail required.
• Must lift 50+ lbs.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.

Overview

Summary: The Forklift Operator oversees loading & unloading materials using a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift. The role involves maintaining a clean and safe work environment and identifying discrepancies in receiving loads against manifest.

Responsibilities

• Utilizing manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist Drivers to load and unload trucks.
• Material handling may include picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products, and other similar duties.
• Ensure timeliness, packaging, and systems work is completed accurately.
• Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D).
• Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, etc.
• Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ensure a safe and secure work environment including all TSA and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time; employees must frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, bend, and lift objects above their head. Employees must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and use pallet jacks and forklifts. Must provide proof of certification.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 4:00PM – 12:30AM.

Pay Range

$20.00 – $21.50 hourly (anticipated starting salary range).
