Job summary

Gap Inc. is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to support our distribution centers in Gallatin, Tennessee.

The role requires hands-on maintenance of material handling equipment (MHE), implementing preventative maintenance programs, and leading a team of technicians to ensure safe, efficient operations. You will collaborate across departments to identify improvement opportunities, manage costs, and drive projects that enhance speed and accuracy in product flow.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of MHE and automation in a distribution center environment.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent verbal, written, analytical and persuasive communication; good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot solutions that impact facility product flow.
• Create and review preventative maintenance programs to recognize and resolve safety, quality and flow issues.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Maintenance Technicians following policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Develop positive cross-functional internal and external relationships to deliver targeted results.
• Execute initiatives to optimize operational excellence within a distribution center.
• Drive and lead projects and assignments of diverse scope.
