Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center is looking for a dynamic Outpatient Clinic Manager to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing help and hope to individuals and families for improved mental health as a local pain management clinic. The Outpatient Clinic Manager ensures the effective day-to-day management of routine office operations; facilitates effective communications and basic financial functions through regular clerical and administrative support.

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral is a 182‑bed psychiatric treatment facility located in Oakland Park, Florida. We provide quality services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Collect and record patients' payments for services, assist patients in completing claims and other forms.
2. Effectively supervise clinic staff; maintain time & attendance records; payroll data; and address HR related issues.
3. Maintain effective working relationships with hospital staff; facilitate patient referral and admission to hospital as necessary.
4. Perform special assignments/projects at the request of the CFO/CEO.
5. Show empathy when communicating financial responsibilities to patients; follow up with insurance companies on outstanding bills; and exceed hospitals net days in accounts receivable goals.
