The AOD/Nurse Supervisor oversees unit-based clinical service lines to ensure quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance while guiding staff toward organizational goals.

The role requires a BSN or ASN with substantial behavioral health experience and clinical/managerial background, including travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• BSN or ASN with clinical/managerial/admin experience; 2 years in psychiatric direct patient care preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of state and federal behavioral health regulatory/accreditation requirements.
• Willingness to travel at least 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Flex shift: 7pm–7am on weekdays and 7am–7pm every other weekend.

The AOD/Nurse Supervisor maintains oversight of unit based Clinical Service lines in identified building in order to ensure quality, integrity, and excellence of treatment delivered in a fiscally responsible manner; plans and develops program goals and directs efforts towards meeting goals; provides support, direction, and supervision of assigned staff; manages response to patient/family complaints or grievances; develops services and programs to ensure financial viability and regulatory compliance; supports marketing, development, and community relations activities.

Requirements

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing or 10 years of behavioral health experience and ASN. 18 months in clinical, managerial and administrative experience preferred. 2 years in psychiatric direct patient care nursing., Master's Degree is preferred.
• A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
• An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of the time.
