Friends Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, seeks a Mental Health Technician Supervisor to oversee Psychiatric Technicians and Counselor Aides on inpatient units. You will provide administrative and clinical supervision, coordinate with Unit Managers, and serve as a liaison to department directors and senior leadership to ensure coordinated care.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Human Services or a HS diploma with 2+ years in direct care, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in human services or High school diploma with minimum 5 years of direct care experience.
• Alternative: HS Diploma or GED plus 2+ years in human services or direct care.

Responsibilities

Friends Hospital offers a continuum of care including level of care assessments; specially designed inpatient units for adolescents, adults, and older adults; and a private residential rehabilitation program. Friends Hospital is easily accessed via public transportation and has free, safe, on-site parking.

The Mental Health Technician Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and supervision of the Psychiatric Technicians and Counselor Aides in collaboration with the Unit Managers. This position provides administrative and technical supervision to all Psychiatric Technicians on inpatient units. The Supervisor is a liaison to department directors and senior leadership to ensure services are provided in a coordinated and efficient manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in the areas of human services or High school diploma and minimum of (5) year experience working in a direct care setting.
OR
High School Diploma or GED equivalent plus 2 years of experience in human service field.
