Friends Hospital, a part of Universal Health Services, Inc., is seeking an AOD/Nurse Supervisor to oversee unit-based Clinical Service lines in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on quality, integrity, and education of care in a fiscally responsible manner on a 7p-7a and weekend rotation.

The position requires a BSN with behavioral health experience or ASN, with clinical leadership experience and knowledge of regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing or 10 years of behavioral health experience and ASN.
• 18 months in clinical, managerial and administrative experience preferred.
• 2 years in psychiatric direct patient care nursing.
• Master’s Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for creating an environment and culture that aligns with the organization’s mission, vision and values.
• Flex shift: 7p-7a during the week, and 7a-7p every other weekend.
• Support goals, staff supervision, and response to patient/family concerns.
• Develop services to ensure regulatory compliance and financial viability.

The AOD/Nurse Supervisor maintains oversight of unit based Clinical Service lines in identified building in order to ensure quality, integrity, and excellence of treatment delivered in a fiscally responsible manner; plans and develops program goals and directs efforts towards meeting goals; provides support, direction, and supervision of assigned staff; manages response to patient/family complaints or grievances; develops services and programs to ensure financial viability and regulatory compliance; supports marketing, development, and community relations activities.

• A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
• An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 10% of the time.
