Job Description

This position supports the health plan finance team, focusing on financial management of the MA health plan. Responsibilities include monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, regulatory reporting, financial modeling, and ad hoc reporting for leadership and regulatory agencies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Financial analysis including budgeting, forecasting, close reporting, and variance analysis
• Timely and accurate financial reporting, discrepancy investigation and resolution
• Analysis of revenues, expenses, utilization, and membership for impact assessment
• Preparation of schedules for regulatory financial reporting
• Coordination with regulators and response to inquiries
• Contribution to regulatory reports and audits, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Effective communication skills
• Prioritization and multitasking under tight deadlines
• Attention to detail and analytical skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Qualifications

• Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
