Job summary

WK Medical Center in Shreveport, LA is seeking a Manager of Patient Engagement to serve as a liaison between patients, families, and the health system, addressing concerns and resolving complaints to enhance the patient experience.

This role coordinates investigations across departments, facilitates communication, and leads service recovery efforts to ensure timely, professional, and compassionate responses while identifying improvement opportunities for quality care across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in healthcare preferred
• Experience working with outside departments on improvement projects preferred
• Experience working with large data sets and platforms; dashboards, data integrity, data integration
• Comfortable presenting in front of leadership and staff
• Experience managing performance improvement projects
• Experience in managing complaints
• Comfortable meeting deadlines with others
• Experience educating clinical and non-clinical staff
• Familiar with patient experience best practices
• Familiar with CI CARE model of service delivery

Educational Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Experience in healthcare preferred
• Experience working with outside departments on improvement projects preferred
• Experience working with large data sets and platforms. Preferably with a history of working with dashboards, ensuring data integrity, and improving data integration.
