Job summary

Willis-Knighton Health System in Shreveport, LA, is seeking a Nursing professional to support patient safety performance improvement within WK Medical Center. The role focuses on chart review, chart abstraction, and collaboration with care teams to ensure compliance with core measures and eCQMs.

Qualifications

This position exists to support the management of quality, performance improvement, and regulatory activities at Willis Knighton Health as they relate to chart abstracted and electronic Clinical Quality Measures (eCQMs).

In this role, the responsibilities includechart review, chart abstraction, staff and physician education, and communication to achieve and maintain compliance with the core measure and eCQM sets. Otherduties for this role areidentification of core measures and eCQM patient populations, coordinating and tracking the services patients receive, providing communication to caregivers and implementing process improvements to achieve compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered nursing licensure or higher preferred
• Maintains professional licensure or certification as applicable
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate in both written and verbal forms.
• Work with individuals using a multidisciplinary approach
• Works cooperatively with other staff and departments to achieve continued compliance.

• Broad-based hospital experience
