Job summary

First National Bank (FNBO) is seeking a Sr. File Transfer Engineer to serve as a technical SME for enterprise MFT platforms. You will lead Axway SecureTransport architecture, partner integrations, and secure data transfers across production, DR, and non-production environments.

The role demands deep MFT expertise, strong architectural thinking, and the ability to mentor engineers while ensuring compliance with PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC 2, and related standards. A hybrid work arrangement is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise Managed File Transfer solutions.
• Deep understanding of file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2) and certificate management.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix system administration.
• Strong networking knowledge (firewalls, load balancers, proxies, DNS, VPN).
• Experience with cloud-based MFT integration (AWS, Azure) or hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Learn and support Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms.
• Lead architecture, design, and scaling of Axway SecureTransport environments across prod, non-prod, and DR zones.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and security teams to align MFT with IT strategy and compliance.
• Serve as a technical lead on MFT projects, including upgrades, migrations, and partner onboarding.
• Manage and optimize Axway SecureTransport components for performance and resiliency.
• Develop and maintain complex MFT workflows and scripting.
• Automate tasks using Shell, Python, and PowerShell.
• Implement monitoring and reporting of MFT transactions using Dynatrace.
• Drive security reviews, access controls, auditing, and compliance readiness.
