Job summary

Catholic Charities West Michigan is seeking a qualified supervisor/advocate for the MiFamily Together program in Grand Rapids, MI. You will supervise staff, carry a partial caseload, and ensure high-quality in-home services to families in Kent County.

The role requires strong leadership, Motivational Interviewing, and collaboration with MDHHS and partners to advance family safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or education required.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with families and children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides supervision and oversight of MiFamily Together staff and caseloads.
• Maintains three- to six-month follow-up visits to review goals.
• Delivers and coordinates in-home services per contract requirements.
• Ensures documentation is completed within required timeframes.
• Engages families using Motivational Interviewing to build rapport.
• Oversees budget adherence and program enrollment processes.
• Conducts weekly supervision and bi-weekly team meetings.
• Manages back-up coverage and 24/7 availability as needed.
• Collaborates with MDHHS and partner agencies to support families.
