Job summary

Catholic Charities West Michigan seeks an MiFamily Together Advocate to deliver in-home services across Ottawa County. The role adheres to MFT philosophy and contract requirements, serving families with flexibility up to 270 days total, based on need.

Wage offered up to $47,715.20 annually ($22.94/hour) with eligibility for extensions. The Advocate will support safety and well-being within a Two-Generation framework, coordinating with MDHHS and care providers to connect families with housing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or education is required or similar.
• Two years of related experience with an associate degree may substitute.
• Experience delivering in-home services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home services for up to 180 days, with extensions up to 270 days total.
• Engage families using Motivational Interviewing and assess needs and goals.
• Coordinate access to housing, transportation, employment, education, and benefits.
• Maintain documentation per MDHHS and MFT requirements.
• Attend required trainings, court hearings, and follow-up visits as needed.
