Job summary

Chapman University in Orange, CA seeks an experienced Operations Manager for the Frances Smith Center for Individual and Family Therapy within the MFT program. The role directs daily center operations, budget oversight, and coordination with clinical training and community outreach.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or related field with CA licensure; 2 years post-license supervision training.
• Knowledge of COAMFTE accreditation standards and BBS regulations.
• Ability to exercise independent thinking and judgment with respect to clinical and crisis issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with public speaking experience.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and supervise Center operations within the MFT program.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee operations of the Frances Smith Center for Individual and Family Therapy.
• Oversee Center budget and expenses; ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Coordinate with MFT Department Chair and Director of Clinical Training on training and supervision.
• Represent the Center in community meetings and referrals; develop marketing tools.
• Review clinic student performance and remedial actions per COAMFTE/BOAMFTE guidelines.
• Maintain risk management and ensure compliance with standards and legal guidelines.
