Job summary

The Director collaborates with the MFT Department Chair to ensure continuity of didactic and clinical training, coordinates with supervisors, and represents the Center at community events and referrals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or related field; California Licensed MFT with 2 years post-license supervision training.
• Ability to exercise independent thinking and judgment on clinical and crisis issues.
• Knowledge of current BBS regulations and COAMFTE accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Frances Smith Center for Individual and Family Therapy.
• Manage the Center budget and related procedures.
• Coordinate with MFT Department Chair to ensure didactic and clinical training continuity.
• Represent the Center at community meetings and referrals; marketing of services.
