Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA seeks a Metrology Group Leader to provide technical and operational leadership for a team supporting laboratory instrumentation in a regulated pharmaceutical testing environment. You will oversee metrology operations, ensure quality compliance, support employee development, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in science, engineering, instrumentation, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in a regulated laboratory/metrology environment.
• Experience troubleshooting lab instrumentation and documenting investigations.
• Experience authoring or reviewing GxP documentation (SOPs, protocols, reports).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate projects with clients in mind.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of the Metrology team.
• Maintain, calibrate, qualify, and ensure compliant instrumentation.
• Coordinate workload, priorities, and resources to meet objectives.
• Support investigations, deviations, CAPAs and non-routine events.
• Review and approve technical docs, protocols, reports, and training records.
• Collaborate with QA and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Mentor and develop team members and foster accountability.
• Drive continuous improvements in efficiency and compliance.
• Support audits, inspections, and client interactions as needed.
• Ensure adherence to GxP, safety and company standards.
