Job summary

HireLifeScience seeks an Automated Inspection Programmer to develop and improve measurement systems ensuring product and process quality. The role focuses heavily on metrology, validation protocols, and documentation within a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include designing fixtures, performing Gage R&R, and conducting PPAP/PMC activities to support new product development and process improvements. Strong GD&T and measurement software skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Experience in programming a wide variety of measurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Metrology 50% of time: program automated inspection equipment and review customer spec changes.
• Complete NPD quality projects on time and revise documentation within designated timeframe.
• Design and develop fixtures and gages for inspection.
• Perform Gage R&R studies and other measurement systems analysis.
• Perform first article inspections and process capability studies.
• Lead metrology initiatives at moderate complexity.
• Apply GD&T Y14.5 and other measurement techniques to review part drawings.
