Job summary

Columbia Hospitality, Inc. is seeking a diligent janitorial associate to maintain clean, sanitary offices and common areas. Responsibilities include high dusting, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom cleaning, trash management and floor care.

You will also assist in outdoor grounds maintenance and respond to cleaning priorities throughout shifts. The role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic janitorial operations and safety practices.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Good communication with team and supervision.
• Able to stand, walk, lift and operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform high dusting around rooms, ceilings, lights and vents.
• Sanitize and spot-clean surfaces, wipe doorknobs, walls and windows as needed.
• Clean bathrooms with germicidal solutions and maintain dispensers.
• Empty trash, restock liners and clean trash cans.
• Dust mop and vacuum floors, tidy common areas and food court spaces.
• Outdoor grounds care: clean sidewalks, benches and remove litter.
• Inspect areas after cleaning to ensure order and safety.
• Provide courteous customer interactions and report issues to supervisors.
