Responsibilities include dusting, sanitizing surfaces, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and grounds upkeep, with emphasis on safety and attention to detail. Must follow MSDS guidelines and work with a courteous, customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Basic operations of janitorial work.
• Basic safe work practices.
• Use of toxic and non-toxic chemicals per MSDS sheets.

Responsibilities

• Dust/high dust surfaces in assigned rooms, keeping areas sanitary and orderly.
• Sanitize surfaces with germicidal solution around room, including doorknobs and walls.
• Clean bathrooms using germicidal solution and proper sequence, refill dispensers.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Dust mop or vacuum floors, sweep and dispose of dust.
• Perform grounds care: outdoor areas cleanliness, sidewalks and benches.
• Clean public common areas, ensure glass and planters are free of debris.
• Sanitize floors with germicidal solution, reach under furniture and behind doors.
• Daily inspection and accurate placement of furniture to prevent issues.
• Assist with additional duties as directed by supervisor or account manager.
• Follow proper routines for floor care such as stripping, waxing, carpet care if needed.
• Adhere to customer service standards: be courteous and quiet, check for issues, report damaged items.
