Job summary

Cesna Recruitment seeks a Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) Sales Manager to lead sales initiatives in the chemical distribution space. You will develop business plans, manage inventories, and build new customer relationships to drive revenue.

The role requires extensive domestic sales experience in chemicals, the ability to travel domestically and internationally, and strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and the Sales Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field preferred.
• Around 10 years of domestic/local sales in the chemical industry.
• At least 5 years of sales experience at a chemical distribution company (solvents preferred).
• Able to travel domestically and internationally.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to convert opportunities to revenue.

Responsibilities

• Managing MMA sales by developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls.
• Conducting inventory assessments, maintaining stockroom organization, and monitoring stock levels.
• Developing new customers and strengthening business relationships.
• Maintaining and reporting sales information in a timely, accurate manner.
• Communicating customer requirements and opportunities to the Chemical Division Sales Director.
• Understanding customers' end markets and sales strategies.
• Communicating customer needs to internal teams to ensure timely solutions and higher satisfaction.
• Increasing industry awareness by attending relevant industry conferences and company meetings.

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing MMA sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls
• Conducting inventory assessments, maintaining stockroom organization, and monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages
• developing new customers and enhance business relationships
• Maintains and reports sales information in a timely and accurate manner.
• Communicates customer requirements and or opportunities to Chemical Division Sales Director
• Understand customers end markets, sales strategies
• Continually communicating customer needs to internal counterparts to ensure timely and accurate solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
• Increase industry awareness and knowledge by attending appropriate industry conferences and company meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited school (preferred)
• around 10 years of domestic sales/local sales/import in the chemical industry
• at least 5 years of sales experience at chemical distribution company (sales experience for solvents is preferred)
• Able to travel domestic and international (business trips)
• Able to create new opportunities and convert opportunities to revenue in sales
• Resourceful and persistence in prospecting prospective clients
• Excellent communication skills
