Job summary

Carroll Motor Fuels is seeking CDL drivers (Class B) with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements to deliver petroleum products to customers in the Mid-Atlantic region. Training is available for new drivers and openings are limited.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED recommended; must be 21 years of age (DOT required).
• Maryland Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements and TWIC Card; current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• 3+ years’ experience driving tanker vehicles preferred.
• Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 50 lbs. and stabilize a minimum of 100 lbs.
• Ability to work with little supervision and communicate verbally with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Drive a straight truck to delivery locations while obeying all local traffic laws.
• Deliver petroleum products to residential and/or commercial customers.
• Operate the truck's onboard delivery computer and meter systems.
• Maintain required paperwork including manifests and Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIRs).
• Support training program for new petroleum drivers as needed.
