CONMED Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Metals in Largo, FL (remote). The role owns the Metals category strategy, leads complex negotiations and designs commercial structures to secure cost, continuity and risk outcomes for CONMED’s Largo operation.

You will drive advanced analytics, engage cross-functionally, and ensure governance and compliance in a regulated manufacturing environment. The position requires a strong leadership record and metals-market expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 8+ years of progressive strategic sourcing experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the enterprise Metals category strategy across suppliers, sites, functions and priorities.
• Lead complex negotiations using indices, should-cost models, benchmarking and TCO.
• Design complex commercial structures including indexation, capacity commitments, LTAs and balanced risk-sharing terms.
• Build and challenge should-cost, index, benchmark, TCO and financial scenario analyses.
• Establish strategic-supplier governance and lead recovery and development plans.
• Anticipate and manage commodity, capacity, quality and continuity risks; escalate with recovery plans.
• Influence senior stakeholders across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Planning and R&D/NPI.
• Integrate responsible sourcing and supplier accountability into strategy.
• Translate market and cost risks into executive recommendations and action.
