CONMED Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Sourcing – Plastics, to lead global strategies for resins, molded components, extrusion and related plastics materials. The role drives cost improvements, supplier relationships, and risk management across CONMED’s manufacturing footprint, partnering with Engineering, Quality, and Operations.
The position emphasizes strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier performance in a dynamic healthcare manufacturing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
- 8–10 years progressive sourcing/procurement experience.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience.
- 3+ years managing plastics, resins, molded components, or related materials.
Responsabilités
- Develop and execute multi-year global category strategies for plastics and related materials.
- Lead supplier governance through quarterly reviews and scorecards.
- Drive cost reduction, value engineering, and total cost of ownership analyses.
- Partner with global cross-functional teams to support NPI and supply continuity.
- Lead supplier development and risk mitigation across the plastics category.
