Job summary

Leybold USA Inc. is seeking a driven technical sales professional with deep metals-processing knowledge to lead new business development and manage strategic accounts across the Southern U.S.

The role requires hands-on furnace and metallurgical experience, and a strong ability to translate customer needs into technical and commercial proposals. The candidate should be comfortable traveling 50–70% and building long-term partnerships with plant and engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or metallurgical/process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new customers in specialty steel, alloy, and metallurgical markets.
• Lead technical discussions on vacuum systems and metallurgical applications.
• Manage the full sales cycle through close.
• Conduct regular on-site visits to facilities and melt shops.
• Provide accurate, data-driven forecasts and maintain a strong pipeline.
