Job summary

Leybold USA Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales in the Scientific market, educate customers on vacuum technology, and manage opportunities within a defined territory. The role involves frequent travel and consulting with internal teams to ensure satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering and at least five years in technical roles or sales, with strong communication and presentation skills. Remote work from a home office is supported with field visits as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
Minimum five years working with technical products or services.
Experience with vacuum equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

Sell Leybold products to an assigned account base within a geographic region.
Split time between home office and customer site visits for meetings, demos, and troubleshooting.
Establish and execute aggressive sales strategies aligned with marketing and leadership.
Identify and secure new business opportunities for Leybold products and services.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide technical sales support including quotations and contract terms.
Complete required reports and use CRM tools for reporting.
Attend trade shows, seminars, and training to stay updated on trends.
Set short-term and long-term sales goals.
Demonstrate key products at customer sites.
Maintain company property including vehicle and demo equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
