Job summary

Archimetis is seeking a Process Metallurgist to serve as the metals subject matter expert across the value chain. You will interpret furnace to finishing operations, guide product requirements, and collaborate with engineering and field teams to deliver measurable improvements in yield, energy use, and quality.

You will translate deep metallurgical knowledge into practical features, frame high-value problems for our AI-driven platform, and help scale the metals practice by mentoring teammates

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience in process metallurgy across metals value chain.
• Experience advising customers and leading technical workstreams is preferred.
• Ability to translate metallurgical knowledge into product features, KPIs, and value outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Be the Metals Authority across primary and secondary operations.
• Lead technical discovery with customers’ engineers and plant managers.
• Translate metallurgical knowledge into feature requirements and KPI frameworks.
• Drive customer outcomes: reduce scrap, improve yield, lower energy intensity.
• Codify learnings into reusable frameworks and domain content.
• Influence product roadmap by voicing metals customer needs and gaps.
• Grow the metals practice by mentoring future domain specialists.
