Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Process Engineer to maintain and develop critical process parameters, analyze data, and resolve critical fab events while producing actionable reports and SOP updates.

The role emphasizes collaboration with equipment engineers, technicians, and manufacturing teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Base salary range is $95,000–$120,000 with comprehensive benefits and on-site employment.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of related experience in Semiconductor Process.
• Experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with AMAT ENDURA platform is highly desired.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex process and equipment issues.
• Participate in task forces addressing KPI improvements across fab lines.
• Identify KPI gaps in multiple PVD process flows and lead improvement projects.
• Produce high-quality reports documenting process and equipment state and future actions.
