Job summary

Combined Metals Company, LLC is seeking a laboratory specialist to perform mechanical testing, heat treatment, and microstructure analysis on steel and other alloys. You will work with polishing equipment, CNC mills, microscopes, and hardness testers to generate reliable data and ensure compliance with ASTM/ISO standards.

The role requires strong documentation, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support audits and internal procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in metallurgy or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a captive or commercial laboratory testing and analyzing metal alloys.
• Experience reviewing customer requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain quality control.
• Prepare and analyze metallic samples using CNC and polishing equipment.
• Perform hardness, tensile, and microstructure testing and data interpretation.
• Log jobs, review specifications, and support internal audits.
