Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in Houston, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Parts Requirements Specialist to translate customer orders, drawings and specifications into Metallurgical Process Instructions and testing requirements in the MSQS Oracle system.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality and certification teams, review customer specifications, and support weekend certifications as needed to ensure full flow-down compliance.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and the Oracle ERP system preferred.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and translate requirements into instructions.
• Highly organized, accurate, and detail oriented; able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensively review customer requirements and translate into internal metallurgical instructions.
• Prepare Metallurgical Process Instructions and Metallurgical Test Requirements in Oracle-based MSQS.
• Review, distribute and maintain customer specifications.
• Interact with external customers and internal departments; support Certification group as needed.
