Job summary

iWorkforce Solutions Houston is seeking a Metallurgical Documentation Specialist to translate customer requirements into internal metallurgical instructions, maintain records, and author compliance reports. You will ensure products are manufactured, tested, inspected, and certified per customer specs.

Responsibilities include preparing test requirements, managing the cut-up database, and generating detailed reports using Excel and Word, with involvement in failure investigations and process

Qualifications

• College or technical degree preferred.
• Hands-on metallurgical testing experience.
• Experience managing databases and technical documents/blueprints.
• Ability to interpret customer specs and drawings.
• Familiarity with turbine engine metallurgical testing a plus.
• Strong organizational and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer orders and drawings into internal metallurgical instructions.
• Prepare metallurgical test requirements in the company database.
• Maintain the internal cut-up database and produce reports.
• Generate detailed project reports using Excel and Word.
• Contribute to failure investigations and process improvements.
