Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Metallurgical Technician to join the Phoenix operations team. The role focuses on supporting metallurgical studies, sampling, and lab analyses within a dynamic mining environment.

You will perform routine lab tests, manage samples, and contribute to data analysis while collaborating with a team in a rotating day shift. Opportunities exist for growth within a major gold mining operation.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a metallurgical lab preferred.
• Knowledge of metallurgical, laboratory and processing analyses preferred.
• Ability to collect samples, process and accurately report results.
• Proficiency with LabWare LIMS and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in metallurgical studies by executing sampling plans, preparing and analyzing samples in lab and plant settings.
• Perform routine sampling, lab test work, and data entry/analysis (acid leach tests, carbon quality control, plant sampling, solution analysis).
• Maintain laboratory and analytical equipment used in the process facility.
• Order and stock process laboratory supplies.
• Assist in evaluating new testing equipment or protocols and vendor contracts.
