Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines seeks a Senior Metallurgist to provide technical leadership and optimize metallurgical processes, driving continuous improvement to meet production, recovery, and safety targets. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in metallurgical operations.
• Experience in roasting, calcine leaching or refractory gold processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead process optimization across crushing, milling, roasting, off-gas handling and CIL for better recovery and throughput.
• Troubleshoot process upsets and identify root causes with ops, maintenance and engineering teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior metallurgical staff and technicians.
• Manage metallurgical projects from conception to completion within time and budget.
• Analyze metallurgical data, develop KPIs, and present findings to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
