Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines in Carlin, NV is seeking an Assay Laboratory Technician to join the Gold Quarry Analytical Lab. You will prepare ore, process, and exploration samples and support fire assay and analytical instrumentation.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, rotating night/day shifts, and maintaining a strong safety and attendance record while collaborating with a professional team in a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in an analytical laboratory preferred.
• Familiarity with chemicals and laboratory procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of computer operation required.
• Exemplary safety and attendance record required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without reasonable accommodations (required).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize a heavy workload (required).
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers in a team environment (required).
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
