Job summary

Beehive Industries is hiring a Metallurgical Supervisor for its Knoxville, Tennessee facility to lead day‑to‑day laboratory operations supporting materials development and additive manufacturing process development.

You will oversee metallurgical testing, material characterization, sample preparation, and documentation to ensure timely, reliable results, while guiding a technical team and coordinating cross‑functional work.

Qualifications

• Degree in metallurgy or materials engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in metallurgical testing or materials characterization.
• Experience leading lab personnel or teams.
• Familiar with ASTM/ISO standards and lab quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laboratory operations and testing priorities.
• Provide technical leadership for metallurgy testing and characterization.
• Develop and coach laboratory personnel with testing standards and procedures.
• Review data, reports, and documentation for accuracy and traceability.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, calibration, and qualification activities.
• Ensure safety and compliance with PPE, hazardous materials handling, and lab protocols.
