Job summary

Beehive Industries in Knoxville, TN, seeks a Metallurgical Technician to perform hands-on metallurgical testing, prepare samples, and support AM process development. You will document results, maintain lab records, and help ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced lab environment.

The role supports Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams and operates on a Thursday–Sunday day shift, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and data reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years metallurgical lab experience preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and document results.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine imaging, measurements, and material testing per procedures.
• Prepare samples and metallographic evaluations to support AM and materials development.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment and records.
• Log work, track status, and manage lab priorities.
• Review results for accuracy and flag anomalies.
