The role requires a Bachelor's in Material Science/Metallurgy and 3+ years of related experience, plus Lean/Six Sigma expertise. The candidate will support production, participate in quality systems, and contribute to R&D initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Material Science, Metallurgy, or Metallurgical Engineering.
• Three or more years of related experience with ferrous iron chemistry and structure.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and strong team participation.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Metal lab, Sand Lab and Quality technicians.
• Ensures testing procedures and documentation meet standards.
• Maintains product quality within specified parameters and takes corrective actions.
• Provides technical support for quality issues and process improvements.
• Leads various research and improvement projects.
