Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on metallurgical experience in heavy manufacturing.
Strong understanding of metal properties, heat‑treatment, and material specs.
Experience with lab equipment ( hardness tester, microscope, tensile tester, spectrometer ).
Ability to troubleshoot on the shop floor and communicate with production teams.

Responsibilities

Perform metallurgical evaluations, including microstructural analysis and failure analysis.
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot metal-processing routes (casting, forging, heat treating, welding).
Monitor material quality and ensure compliance with specifications.
Lead CAPA and continuous improvement projects.
Review material certifications and metallurgical test results.
