Zusammenfassung

Jobot is seeking a Metallurgical/Foundry Quality Engineer for our established US-based manufacturing team. The role focuses on ensuring manufacturing processes meet high-quality standards, with a permanent position requiring at least 2 years of related experience.

The successful candidate will create AIAG/APQP documentation, manage PPAP and qualification runs, and lead corrective actions. A CQE certification and IATF 16949/AS 9100 knowledge are advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Aufgaben

• Create AIAG/APQP documentation for new program launches.
• Manage supplier PPAP and Production Validation runs.
• Issue/follow up on corrective action requests.
• Use problem solving and mistake proofing tools to correct/prevent defects.
• Interface with customer SQE.
• Communicate customer quality requirements to the team.
• Audit processes for compliance with controls and methods.
• Perform NDT techniques such as radiographic inspection of castings.
• Conduct chemistry and microstructure analysis.
• Follow OSHA safety procedures and company policies.
• Learn all aspects of the quality department quickly.
