Qualifications

• The candidate has hands-on metallography lab practices and lab equipment knowledge.
• Experience with grain size rating procedures and related standards.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate lab and shop equipment.
• Good computer literacy and capable written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and examine metallography specimens for production and development.
• Maintain specimen records and documentation.
• Generate investigation reports, ratings and photographs.
• Assist in forging and heat treatment and support APD Forge Shop activities.
