Job summary

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three to five years CNC lathe experience required; experience in Inspection, Metallurgical Lab, and/or Heat Treat preferred.
• Functional math skills and good oral/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathe and CNC mill to prep material for tensile, hardness, and conductivity testing.
• Perform tensile test requirements and evaluate hardness, strength, elongation and fracture data.
• Create required reports documenting test results and quality checks.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications and work instructions.
• Assist with data entry for labor reporting and part tracking.
