Job summary

Ryerson in Colorado is hiring a Warehouse Operator to maintain stock and support shop floor production. You will pull and stage feedstock, break down bundles, pack material to specs, and run daily machine operations. Training includes enrollment in an apprenticeship program.

Candidates should have warehouse experience, basic computer skills, and be able to operate measuring tools. Pay rate starts at $28.20/hr with experience-based adjustments.

Qualifications

• Skills-based assessment evaluating reading, math, measurements and problem-solving.
• Some warehouse/manufacturing experience required.
• Forklift/side-loader experience preferred.
• Overhead crane operation preferred.
• Must use measuring tools (tape, micrometer, caliper) accurately.
• Basic computer skills and onboarding in apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage feedstock for production orders.
• Break down bulk bundles for customer orders.
• Package material to customer requirements.
• Operate machines to produce parts per specs.
• Confirm work orders in the computer system.
• Move material with overhead crane, forklift, and side loader.
• Load/unload trucks and perform other duties as needed.
