Job summary

Joseph T. Ryerson & Son, Inc is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Commerce City, CO. You will maintain stock, support production on the shop floor, and engage in daily machine operation to meet customer specs.

Starting pay is $28.20 per hour, with progression based on experience and education. Successful candidates will enroll in a registered apprenticeship program as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Some experience working in a warehouse and manufacturing setting.
• Forklift/side-loader experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate an overhead crane preferred.
• Must be able to accurately use standard measuring tools (tape measure, micrometer, and caliper).
• Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer.
• Physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and staging feedstock for production orders.
• Breaking down bulk bundles for customer specific orders.
• Packaging of material to customer requirements.
• Daily machine operation to produce parts to customer specifications.
• Work order confirmation on computer.
• Operating an overhead crane, forklift, and side loader to move material as needed.
• Truck loading/unloading.
