Job summary

Dimensional Innovations is seeking an experienced Metal Shop Supervisor to oversee production operations, manage staffing, and optimize throughput. You will coordinate with project engineers, manage resources, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong quality focus, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives. This is an on-site, hourly (non-exempt) position with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a production environment.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement is a plus.
• Construction or welding certificate is a plus.
• OSHA safety certification is a plus.
• Proficient reading and interpretation of engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and leads production operations to meet targets with available resources.
• Evaluates subcontractor or vendor capabilities when outsourcing.
• Provides daily work assignments and adjusts resources per project priorities.
• Keeps the production capacity sheet updated and aligned with priorities.
• Collaborates with engineers to prioritize workload and material orders.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and participates in safety initiatives.
• Submits quarterly inventory to Finance on time.
• Recruits, onboards, and trains team members and sets expectations.
• Identifies overtime needs and reallocates resources to meet deadlines.
• Conducts yearly performance evaluations and 1:1 career meetings.

Education
