Dimensional Innovations, Inc. in Overland Park, KS is seeking an experienced Metal Shop Supervisor to lead production operations, coordinate with engineering and procurement, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role focuses on throughput, quality, and safety within a fast-paced fabrication environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in production, lean manufacturing exposure, and hands-on leadership to guide a skilled metal shop team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supervising in a production environment.
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience is a plus.
• Construction or welding certificate from an accredited program is a plus.
• OSHA safety certification is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and lead production operations to meet targets with available resources.
• Evaluate subcontractor or vendor capabilities when outsourcing is required.
• Coordinate with the Production Manager on project scheduling and resource needs.
• Provide daily work assignments and adjust resources as priorities change.
• Maintain production capacity sheets and update priorities.
• Ensure safety and compliance with all policies and procedures in the metal shop.
• Lead metal shop team meetings and review training needs.
• Submit quarterly inventory to the Finance Department.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members.
