Job summary

Clow is seeking a Shear Operator to cut metal sheets with precision and support production for leading manufacturers. You will operate shear equipment, monitor quality, and adjust settings while moving materials with forklifts and overhead cranes.

This hands-on role emphasizes teamwork, problem solving, and adherence to safety. Starting pay is $19.80/hr with potential to $20.80/hr and a $1.25 shift differential; benefits include health coverage, 401(k), and PTO.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of manufacturing or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow job instructions within an ERP system.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks based on production needs.

Job description

If you enjoy working with machinery, handling large materials, and taking pride in producing quality work, a Shear Operator role at Clow could be a great fit.

As a Shear Operator, you'll operate industrial shear equipment to cut metal sheets to precise specifications that support the production of quality components for leading manufacturers. You'll work with forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment while helping keep materials moving and production running efficiently.

This is a hands‑on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with equipment, solving problems, and being part of a team that builds something every day.

Shifts Available

• Shift 14: 2:00pm – 12:00am, Monday – Thursday (+$1.25/hour shift differential)

Starting Rate Of Pay

• $19.80 per hour base rate. Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for base pay up to $20.80 per hour.

What You'll Do

• Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
