Job summary

Clow Stamping Company is seeking a Laser Production Assistant to help keep our laser production running smoothly. You will inspect parts, remove imperfections, and support the Laser Department to maintain flow and quality.

The role requires 6–12 months of related experience, ability to use hand tools or grinders, and a Clow forklift certification. Expect a physically active environment with safety as a priority and opportunities for skill development.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools or grinders is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a Clow forklift certification.
• PPE and safety procedures must be observed.
• Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 100 lbs, and frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect laser-cut parts for burrs, slag, and tabs and remove imperfections to meet quality standards.
• Remove completed parts from laser nests and keep laser beds clear for continuous production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the Laser Department.
• Use the ERP system and a forklift to move, stage, and store materials accurately.
• Collaborate with Lead and Senior Laser Operators to keep production flowing smoothly.

Shifts Available:

• Shift 21: 6:00am – 6:00pm, Friday - Sunday (+$3.50/hour shift differential)

Starting Rate of Pay:

• $19.80 per hour base rate. Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for base pay up to $20.80 per hour.

What You'll Do

• Inspect laser-cut parts for burrs, slag, and tabs, removing imperfections to meet quality standards.
• Remove completed parts from laser nests and keep laser beds clear for continuous production.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the Laser Department.
