Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a skilled Metal Refinisher Foreman to restore surfaces through buffing, stripping, sanding, masking, filling, spraying, oxidizing and finishing techniques. This full-time role includes leading other crew members and ensuring quality, on-time completion of work orders.

You will work nights with occasional travel, handling solvents and tools while adhering to OSHA safety guidelines. A driven, detail-oriented individual with a valid license is ideal for this position.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license, with an insurable driving record.
• Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Comfortable with heights and working in confined spaces.
• Ability to kneel, squat, bend, lift, reach, climb and carry equipment up to 60lbs unassisted.
• Painting and Spraying Experience of any type.
• High level of attention to detail/cleanliness.

• Working with solvents, chemicals, pneumatic and power tools.
• Follow all safety and OSHA related protocols, including the use of company vehicles.
• Successfully complete all required safety and training modules.
• Work nights (generally 4/5pm – 2/3am) with flexibility to work occasional days or weekends.
• Occasion out of town travel (in company van, with daily per diem allowance & individual hotel)

We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Metal Refinisher to bring their talent and craftsmanship to our expanding markets. As a foreman refinisher, you’ll use your expertise in buffing, stripping, sanding, masking, filling, spraying, oxidizing, and finishing techniques to restore surfaces to their best state.
