Job summary

Millennium Power, Inc. is seeking a Bead Blaster/Surface Preparation technician to remove paint, rust, and contaminants from various components using bead and grit blasting equipment. You will ensure proper tagging, move parts to appropriate areas, and inspect for surface imperfections.

The role requires a HS diploma, basic tool skills, and strong teamwork. Overtime may apply; company benefits include medical, life insurance, disability coverage, and PTO/holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous blasting, sanding, body repair, or paint preparation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate bead blasting, grit blasting, and Metfin equipment to remove paint, rust, dirt, and other surface contaminants from metal, plastic, aluminum, fiberglass, and stainless-steel components.

• Repair blemishes and defects using approved fillers and repair materials.

• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
