Job summary

SOLID Surface Care, Inc. is seeking a Metal Refinisher to restore surfaces using buffing, stripping, sanding, masking, filling, spraying, and finishing techniques. You will follow work orders and safety protocols to deliver quality results on time.

The role involves night shifts (roughly 4/5pm–2/3am) with occasional weekend work, travel in company van, and per diem. Training and advancement opportunities are available, with a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current and valid driver’s license, with an insurable driving record.
• Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Comfortable with heights and working in confined spaces.
• Ability to kneel, squat, bend, lift, reach, climb and carry equipment up to 60lbs unassisted.
• Painter or spraying experience of any type.
• High level of attention to detail/cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Working with solvents, chemicals, pneumatic and power tools.
• Follow all safety and OSHA related protocols, including the use of company vehicles.
• Successfully complete all required safety and training modules.

• Occasion out of town travel (in company van, with daily per diem allowance & individual hotel).

We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Metal Refinisher to bring their talent and craft to our expanding markets. As a refinisher, you’ll be using your expertise in buffing, stripping, sanding, masking, filling, spraying, oxidizing, and finishing techniques to restore surfaces to their best state.

Key Responsibilities
