Job summary

IACMI – The Composite Institute in Knoxville, TN seeks a Project Coordinator to support the METAL workforce education and development program. You will assist in project management, track milestones, prepare reports, and partner with industry and education groups to ensure program success.

This remote role requires independent work and collaboration in a virtual team, with travel ~40% including quarterly in-person meetings at our Knoxville headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; relevant experience considered.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in training, workforce development, or project management.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a project team.

Responsibilities

• Support the METAL Program Manager in planning, scheduling, and tracking program activities and deliverables.
• Coordinate communication between IACMI, industry partners, educational institutions, and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and records per program and funding requirements.
• Schedule and facilitate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and monitor follow-ups.
